The Finance/Accounting team is seeking out driven, detail-oriented professionals to exercise accounting principles while preserving the superior financial standing of our $15B company. These personnel examine data for accuracy, generate financial reports, and assist in analyzing our financial statements.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will support both the accounting activities for IFRS accounting and reporting requirements of the company's consolidated results.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the monthly consolidation of division financial statements .

  • Uploads and validates monthly statistical data.

  • Compiles weekly results, including loading corporate information and verifying division information has been loaded completely and accurately.

  • Assists with monthly and quarterly reporting.

  • Responds to audit inquiries.

  • Assists with the preparation of the semi-annual reporting pack to parent company.

  • Prepares US Census surveys.

  • Identifies and implements process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and cost saving initiatives while ensuring process quality.

  • Undertakes special projects and supports Corporate initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Business. or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience; required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as solid organization and time management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal departments.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
