Program Analyst

This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

The Program Analyst is responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will apply advanced analytical techniques, statistical modeling, and operations research methods to assess program performance, optimize processes, and support strategic planning efforts.

Compensation & Benefits:



  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Analyst: $70,000 - $85,000
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.



Program Analyst Responsibilities Include:



  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and apply mathematical models, simulations, and optimization techniques to solve complex operational challenges.
  • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support leadership in decision-making.
  • Utilize operations research methodologies, such as linear programming, game theory, and stochastic modeling, to enhance process optimization.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking program success.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and engineering, to improve overall organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, data analytics tools, and research methodologies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Program Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in operations research, program analysis, or data analytics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SAS, or SQL.
  • Experience with optimization techniques, simulation modeling, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Knowledge of decision-making support systems and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with government programs, logistics, or defense operations (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in DoD, government contracting, or logistics operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in operations research preferred.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP or data management systems preferred.
