Overview

The Chief Security Office (CSO) focuses on running security operations globally to protect Deutsche Bank's people, infrastructure and information. Information security is responsible for preventing IT crime, hacking, and intentional or unintentional modification, disclosure, or destruction of the organization's information systems, IT resources, and intellectual property. The Regional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) - Americas is accountable for overseeing Information Security (IS) for Americas to ensure cyber security risks and associated events are recognized on regional or legal entity level. As an Information Security Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the Regional CISO as part of the CISO Americas team. You will help drive the CISO Americas strategy in alignment with the groups IS strategy. Further, you will support in overseeing daily operational activities for the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) organization in Americas and in ensuring effective collaboration with other regional functions.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to formulation of the Group IS Strategy, ensuring its implementation is in line with regional Legal, Regulatory and risk requirements and monitor that implementation for Americas.

  • Represent the CISO organization at all appropriate regional control and governance forums as well as regional regulatory and legal entity organizations.

  • Ensure that appropriate procedures, policies and processes are in place and agreed and agreed with relevant stakeholders

  • Coordinate flow of deliverables for the CISO Americas

  • Development and delivery across CISO functions of executive-level content, memos, and presentations for Management and Supervisory Boards

  • Prepare briefings and summaries to assist CISO in management of security function

  • Identify and assess potential threat areas for information security by assessing the likelihood and impact and implementing appropriate mitigation measures

  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure management is focused on the information security agenda

How You'll Lead

  • Ability to collaborate and influence across external regulators, internal auditors and regional management.

Skills You'll Need

  • In depth understanding of information security control and governance frameworks

  • Experience with senior level presentations to regulators, legal entity boards and other senior management fora

  • Very strong ability to work focused and in a systematic way with only limited guidance and - in particular, under time pressure - exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent working experience of risk management, regulatory and senior stakeholder engagement

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Capability to interact successfully in a virtual, global and multi-cultural environment

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. German

  • Very good technical knowledge in identity & access management, information security and IS technology as well as cloud security language skills are an additional benefit but not a must and a graduate in computer science and/or first technical experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the processes of a security organization and years of experience aligning standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy

  • One or more of the following education/certification qualifications are also beneficial: CISSP/CCSP/CISM/CEH/CISA/CCSK

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $145,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
