The Senior Fellow Scientist at Nutrien stands as a pinnacle of expertise and strategic influence in computational science within the agricultural domain.   Act as the primary resource for advanced knowledge and strategic direction in computational science and agronomy, guiding the organization's long-term objectives.

  Create and manage comprehensive mentorship programs, fostering scientific development and expertise throughout the organization.

  Steer the future direction of capability development in Agronomy & Environmental Sciences, ensuring alignment with global scientific advancements and business needs.

What you will bring:

  Doctoral degree preferred, bachelors degree required in Computational Science, Atmospheric Science, Agronomy, Soil Science, Meteorology, or a related field.

    Or equivalent professional experience with 20+ years in the computational science domain.

  15 years of relevant experience required.

  Recognized globally as a leading expert in computational applications within agriculture, preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $139,800 - $259,700/annually. This range is estimated forSenior Fellow Scientistin Champaign, Illinois. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
