From your PASSION to ours

As a Maintenance Welder Fabricator, the role will fulfill responsibilities such as but not limited to Welding and Fabrication of Dairy Processing equipment and processes. The role includes ensuring manufacturing performance, volume, and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient technical methods. Additionally, the Maintenance Welder Fabricator will collaborate with the Maintenance Management, Supervisors, Coordinator and Staff to align duties with the company's goals and values.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Fabrication, and repair of production equipment and parts.
• Responsible for ordering parts and materials needed for repairs and projects.
• Supports assigned projects from planning and fabrication through assembly.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• An ability to design parts and equipment without engineering drawings.
• Troubleshooting and repairing existing dairy processing equipment, including welding repairs on damaged components.
• Knowledgeable with all aspects of dairy process fabrication and sanitary welding procedures.
• Proficient with job-related tools, machinery.
• Performing various welding techniques (TIG, Mig, Stick) to join metal components, ensuring proper penetration and quality welds.
• The ability to follow strict sanitation procedures when welding and fabricating to maintain hygiene standards in a dairy processing environment.
• The ability to set up and manage purging gas flow when purge welding, including back purging techniques.
• Awareness of food safety protocols and hygienic practices required in a dairy processing environment.
• Responsible for the equipment and environmental conditions in the workshop.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Use of SAP to manage workflow, documenting maintenance activities, including logging job progress, repairs, adjustments, and spare part usage.
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction.
• Following strict sanitation procedures when welding and fabricating to maintain hygiene standards in a dairy processing environment.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

• High school's diploma is preferred. Or Equivalent.

Experience

• 5+ years Sanitary Welding/Fabrication experience is required.

Certifications and specific knowledge

• Expert in sanitary stainless-steel welding
• Knowledgeable with all aspects of dairy process fabrication and sanitary welding procedures.
• Proficient with job-related tools, machinery.
• Mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
