Description
GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIT 2 to work with the Power Generation Business Sector on primarily Power Generation projects and when needed other regional projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees, upon approval by supervisors, the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment that will utilize their college education and past work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded professional with the ability to grow in today's environment. The candidate will be based out of GAI's Louisville, KY office and will perform field work and design tasks under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer and/or professional geologist. Education
Bachelors of Geology (required)
Experience
3 years: Perform engineering geology assignments involving subsurface investigations and geologic site characterization for a variety of facilities including, but not limited to: foundations for transmission lines, buildings, bridges, dams, retaining walls, and other structures; Install geotechnical field instrumentation; Select samples for laboratory testing. (required)
