CMM Programmer

Advantage Technicial has a direct hire opportunity for a CMM Programmer in Woburn, MA, with a company specializing in high-volume bread and bun production equipment for commercial use.

Pay: $50/hr

Essential Duties:

• Develop and optimize programs for CNC equipment, including generating tool lists and setup sheets.
• Edit and update existing programs as needed.
• Design workholding fixtures using SolidWorks for CNC machining (e.g., custom jaws, vacuum fixtures).
• Read and compare NC file code for CNC machining centers.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of experience programming CNC machining centers using CamWorks and/or MasterCam 3D.
• Proficient with CAD models, PDF drawings, and parts lists.
• Knowledge of hole preparation for various inserts (helicoils, keenserts, etc.) per manufacturer and military specs.
• Experience with GD&T, dimensioning, and tolerancing.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe).
• SolidWorks experience for designing CNC workholding fixtures.
• Ability to read and compare NC file codes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
