Are you looking to break into the world of Human Resources and utilize your administrative skills? Securian Financial is seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will provide support to the Director of Talent Acquisition, coordinate and schedule complex interviews for talent acquisition team, and execute tasks to ensure an excellent onboarding experience for new hires with various recruitment and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule interviews for applicants, including travel arrangements
  • Administer and facilitate the pre-boarding processes for new employees.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day and execute tasks associated with the Day 1 onboarding experience.
  • Greet all visitors and candidates on the Human Resources floor in a friendly, professional manner with exceptional customer service
  • Assist with routine activities related to Talent Acquisition ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Manage employment calendars and shared email inboxes
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion regarding the handling of confidential information
  • 1+ year of experience with MS Office 365
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality, personalized customer service
  • Welcoming and friendly demeanor, being easily approachable by colleagues and clients/candidates

*Internal Securian Financial job title for this position is Talent Acquisition Sr Rep.

Working Arrangements: In this role, you would be expected to work 40 hours a week with typical work hours between 7 am - 5 pm. This role is primarily onsite and will sit at the HR front desk 4-5 days per week depending on interview and onboarding schedules. On Monday mornings, you will greet and check-in new employees in the new hire welcome center. #LI-Onsite

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$18.27 - $31.73

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
