Summary:

The Product Manager will be responsible for guiding the success of a product and/or module and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving it. Be able to set strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product and/or module. Provide the deep product expertise needed to make strategic product decisions. Be responsible for defining the why, when, and what of the product that the engineering team builds.

Responsibilities:



  1. Product Strategy: Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the healthcare application, aligning with organizational goals and market demands.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinicians, engineers, and leadership to gather requirements, prioritize features, and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
  3. Agile Product Development: Manage the product development lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization.
  4. User Experience: Advocate for intuitive, user-friendly design by collaborating with UX/UI designers and incorporating feedback from end users.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze user behavior, application performance, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  6. Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between engineering, quality assurance, project management, release management teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the application post-launch, iterating on features and functionality based on user feedback and business needs.
  8. Support customer-facing teams by providing technical guidance, training, and documentation to assist in product adoption



Required Skills:



  • Experience: 3+ years of product management experience with a software product, preferably within healthcare or a regulated industry. Proven track record of managing full lifecycle product development.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence). Understanding of cloud-based platforms, APIs, and healthcare technology standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Experience using UI/UX design tools (e.g. Figma). Basic technical knowledge to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.
