Salary: $93K/Yr. - $135K/Yr. on W2 with benefits (Based on experience)

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day

Note:

  • Relocation assistance for the right candidate
  • Government contracts experience will be a plus
  • Fully Onsite (Every other Friday Off after a couple of months)
  • 12.5% Annual Bonus
  • Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) or Contracts Management desired



Job Summary:

  • Responsible for developing, negotiating, and administering highly complex and high-risk subcontracts, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance criteria.
  • Performs material planning duties related to assigned commodities including lead-time maintenance, analyzing material requirements, asset management, and other associated activities.
  • Plans and conducts major contract negotiations. Prepares subcontracts, statement of work, supplier data requirement lists, contractual documents and amendments as required to comply with contract specifications.
  • Conducts supplier site visits and evaluates them as to production capability, performance, delivery, and other key business criteria. May support or lead supplier certification surveys as part of a technical and/or quality team.
  • Three years of leadership experience and purchasing management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of complex legal and regulatory requirements related to government procurement regulations, or similar commercial or FAA requirements, DFAR/FAR experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with standard business application software and specialized purchasing and/or materials systems (e.g., electronic data interface (EDI) or manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems and SAP experience.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field (e.g., finance, law/contract law; program management), and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of increasingly responsible experience in contract administration or procurement.
