Job Description:

  • The driver must be present for the T3.
  • All hotels, airfare, rental cars will be paid through a ghost credit card in our corporate travel system.
  • All meals and miscellaneous items (uber, airline baggage fees, parking fees) must be paid with a personal credit card, but will be reimbursed upon submitting an expense report with all receipts.
  • Hotels may ask for a credit card for incidentals when checking in. A personal credit card must be used for that. If no incidentals are purchased, the charge will be dropped from their card upon checkout.
  • The driver will be paid for driving the customer's tractor/trailer to prescheduled stops across the country and into Canada.
  • Also, the driver must be present for the training sessions to offer insight into the customer's powertrain, which is what the training covers.


A typical work week is described below:

  • Monday - Open the trailer at the dealership in the morning. Support the instructor in the training in the afternoon.
  • Tuesday - Conduct open house in the trailer to showcase the powertrain with dealership personnel, support dealer sales professional with the customer event, and tear down the trailer.
  • Wednesday - Drive to the next dealership (we try to keep the drive time less than 6 hours.)
  • Thursday - Open the trailer at the dealership in the morning. Support the instructor in the training in the afternoon.
  • Friday - Conduct open house in the trailer to showcase the powertrain with dealership personnel, support dealer sales professional with the customer event, and tear down the trailer.
  • Saturday - Drive to the next dealership (we try to keep the drive time less than 6 hours.)
  • Sunday -OFF* Non-working day (expenses will be paid for the day, but no labor charges unless they are doing something with setting up the truck.


The weeks of Memorial Day and Independence Day, we'll pay for the drivers to fly home for the week and fly them back to the trucks the next week. Flight time is paid from wheels up to wheels down:

  • Meal per diem is $50 per day. Anything above is considered a personal expense and is not reimbursable.
  • Detailed receipts must be submitted with expenses. We will not reimburse for alcohol purchases, which is why detailed receipts must be submitted.
  • Ideal candidates will safely drive our client's tractor/trailers (one driver per tractor/trailer) on intrastate and interstate routes for delivery of training at customer locations throughout the United States and parts of Canada.
  • The driver will assist with trailer setup and tear down to support the training delivery.
  • The equipment hauled will be left in the trailer but needs to be secured before departing to the next training event.
  • The driver will need to transport the training equipment in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with
  • Department of Transportation regulations and do so accurately, on time, damage-free, and without incident while maintaining positive customer relations.


Driving Experience and History:

  • Two (2) years verifiable CDL-A driving experience within their classification in the last three (3) years
  • Three (3) years minimum driving experience in total
  • No DOT recordable accidents within the last year
  • No more than two (2) preventable accidents in the last three (3) years
  • No more than three (3) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor
  • vehicle in the last three (3) years
  • No license suspensions or revocations due to moving violations in the last five (5) years
  • No record of operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license in the last five (5) years


General Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, follows all traffic laws, rules and requirements for rest, maximum miles driven, etc.
  • Minimum 23 years of age.
  • Must have a current DOT physical.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll/meal/hotel receipts.
  • Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.
  • Report defects, accidents or violations.
  • Proven work experience as a truck driver.
  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule.
  • Convey a professional image as a representative for our client.
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment references.
  • Required Licensing/Documentation.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Valid Class-A CDL.
  • Truck Driving Academy Diploma.
  • High school diploma or GED (Desired).
  • $3,000 program bonus upon successful completion of transporting clients tractor and trailer safely with zero incidents.
