We are looking for a highly motivated, safe and detail-oriented CDL Driver. Candidates will be responsible for operating company trucks and assisting with overall warehouse operations, including receiving incoming material, processing products, maintaining inventory, and packing outgoing material.

Starting Pay: $22 HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift
Required: Class A or B



Responsibilities

Truck Driver Responsibilities:

Driver duties include (but not limited to) the following:

    Operate company-assigned vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and inventory
  • Obey all traffic laws and follow established transportation procedures
  • Report any vehicle/mechanical issues to management immediately
  • Do not operate vehicle prior to pre-check inspection and clearance
  • Adhere to all company and DOT safety procedures and guidelines
  • Secure cargo and properly arrange product to avoid damage
  • Load and unload orders and inventory from vehicle
  • Maintain paperwork and receipts from deliveries
  • Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations
  • Maintain detailed log of working hours
  • Complete long-distance deliveries
  • Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
  • Assist in reviewing incoming shipping documents and update inventory
  • Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product
  • Assist in inspecting inventory and product orders for accuracy/quality
  • Create and maintain a safe, organized working environment
  • Report product discrepancies/damage to management
  • Actively communicate with teammates
  • Operate forklift(s) to move material
  • Other Operations tasks as assigned

Truck Driver Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License
  • Strong attention to detail (critical skill)
  • Familiarity with using GPS and/or Maps
  • Hand-eye coordination for driving purposes
  • Visual and hearing acuity for driving purposes
  • Ability to work and/or stay out of town as needed
  • Willingness to submit to DOT random drug testing
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position
  • Ability to drive safely, irrespective of weather or time of day
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management
  • Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior CDL/truck driving experience

Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred
