What you'll do: This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid-May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you'll work to assist in our remote operated vehicle program doing script development with SVN and GitHub. Additional responsibilities may include user documentation and ECAD testing. Duties & Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with mentors to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations. No relocation or housing assistance is being offered. ESSENTIAL : * Carries out tasks as assigned by Engineering Lead and the Software Development Manager. Tasks would generally be script development and documentation. * Interface inside and outside a meeting setting with project team members and clients. Qualifications
REQUIRED: * BS, MS or PhD candidate at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in DevOps, Software Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 2.5 GPA. * Experience with Microsoft Office. * Experience with DevOps. * Experience with Unix / Linux and Bash scripting. * Experience with GitHub and SVN. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. DESIRED: * Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules. * Experience with ECAD software, specifically Altium Designer. Additional Information
