Job Title: Flight Controls Engineer/Project Design Engineer Location: 14300 Alton Pkwy Irvine CA 92618 Shift: 1st Duration: 12 Months+ Pay Rate: $60-$80/hr. on w2 without benefits Note: Provide engineering support equivalent to Project Engineer, on various military projects. Minimum of 10 years' experience with flight control hydraulic actuation design, requirements, and testing. Required to be on-site at the Alton facility at least 4 days per week. Job Description: Product Improvements and Retrofits Project lead. Working with legacy to design updates to improve reliability and time on-wing as well as improved materials for environmental responsibility. Create and review Engineering Reports and Design Review materials. Participate in Design Reviews. Coordinate with test engineering and technicians to review test reports and disposition test failures. Communicates directly with other senior technical representatives (including customers and/or suppliers) to reach agreement on specific technical issues. Education: Bachelor's Degree.
