Our client in the Manufacturing field is seeking a dynamic and experienced hands-on Director/Senior Manager of Information Technology to lead and oversee all technology activities within the organization, encompassing both back-office and front-office technology. This role, which reports directly to the CFO, is responsible for managing the entire information technology infrastructure, including strategy development, system management, security, budget allocation, and leading the IT team. The objective is to ensure that technology aligns with business goals and objectives while driving innovation to support our continued growth strategy.
The ideal candidate will be very hands-on and have a strong background in IT infrastructure within a manufacturing and production setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
- Lead the IT department, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team enabling career growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Act as a cross-functional leader, unifying non-IT business functions with technology strategy.
- Technical Oversight:
- Identify technology needs and make recommendations to business decision-makers
- Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of the company's ERP, manufacturing and production systems
- Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems.
- Direct and ensure Cybersecurity measures are appropriate, well managed and results reported in a timely manner.
- Drive the adoption of recognized best practices in software management, system integration, and IT operations.
- Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features.
- Project Management:
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, with quality, within scope and budget.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to align IT initiatives with financial and business goals.
- Collaboration and communication with the Board of Directors if needed
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing transparency and clarity on IT projects and performance.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate business risks associated with IT operations and projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Director/Sr. Manager or in a similar senior IT leadership role with meaningful scope.
- 5-10 years of extensive experience with manufacturing and production environments.
- 5-10 years of extensive experience with IT Infrastructure.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (Director/Sr. Manager level).
