NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Event Credentialing and Member Services.

The Manager, Event Credentialing and Member Services position will be responsible for a variety of functions in support of the NASCAR Event Credentialing department including direct support of the Director of Event Credentialing.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Travel to a minimum of 30 race events a year,

  • Assists with set up and tear down of the credential hauler/office for each event. Take inventory and order supplies.

  • Verifies identification and issues credentials to guests of the teams and the company's sponsors.

  • Check in NASCAR licensed members and verify status.

  • Investigate and resolve issues with guests.

  • Create necessary signage and information sheets as needed per race.

  • Responsible for inventory of passes both pre- and post-event.

  • Supervise and assist assigned part time staff.

  • Lead the NASCAR Credential operation at stand-alone race events as needed.

  • Manage credential maps for NASCAR Member Site and Event Information Site.

  • Review entry lists for all events and ensure all affiliates are correctly established in the GAP system and reflect the appropriate allotments for each.

  • Admin duties throughout the season include team contact lists, affiliate contact lists, credential team guidelines and expectations.

  • Investigate and resolve issues with staff and guests.

  • Works closely with the Director of Event Credentials to manage the GAP system

  • Approximate travel 85%, including weekends.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two (2) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for providing exceptional service.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with the race schedule and event calendar.

  • Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities according to the race schedule and event calendar.
