Immediately Hiring! Starting Pay: $22 to $25/hr based on experience!!! Message "PPG" to +1 412 744-8360 to apply for this position via text! Day Shift hours from7 am to 330 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm. Monday - Friday. Some overtime and weekends may be required. PPG Windsor Locks, CTis hiring a Material Handler. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with a variety of customers as a part of a fast-moving, dynamic team! Key Responsibilities Work will be on the customer site doing functions such as: scanning, storing, and distributing material and products within establishments. Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas. Reads customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas, to storage or other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (FIFO). Operates electric cart to move materials. Communicate via email and teams, run reports, scan current inventory, break down pallets and deliver material to designated locations. Floating holidays based on customer demand. Qualifications Must be able to read and understand English. Previous material handler experience preferred. Microsoft office experience highly preferred. Previous Aerospace experience a plus. Lift up to 25 pounds infrequently. Position requires ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, carry, and reachproducts. Able to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required.
