The College of Health Sciences - Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences - Medical Laboratory Science Program at the University of Missouri (MU) - Columbia invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor position with teaching and service responsibilities. Teaching responsibility includes appointment as the program's Clinical Coordinator. About the Department/Program Position Overview Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have earned at least a bachelor's degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The candidate must hold American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP or ASCPI) BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and at least one year of experience in the field of laboratory education. Candidates will demonstrate adequate knowledge and proficiency in their content areas and the ability to teach effectively at the appropriate level. Candidates may be evaluated on graduate degree or progress toward graduate degree and /or outcomes of clinical laboratory science teaching. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the applicant. The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $104,000, dependent upon the rank of the position offered. Application Materials
