Account Director, Commercial Aerospace Growth
Overview:
Belcan is currently seeking an Account Director, Aerospace Strategic Accounts. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other related field from an accredited institution and 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing current and new business within the commercial aviation industry, including but not limited to: generation of sales opportunities, sales pipeline management, leading sales campaigns and capture planning to identify new opportunities and build cross-functional capture teams to drive them to closure, operational and project oversight, and overall accountability for all account activities.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal teams and external customers across multiple engineering and business disciplines and at every level up to senior executive leadership.
Aerospace Account Manager Job Duties:
*Creating and executing a go-to-market strategy for Belcan Services for new and current customers
*Preparing the account level playbook and executing strategic impact activities plan within the organization, and guiding other members of the Account Management team
*Actively engaging customers at multiple levels to understand their priorities, challenges, and opportunities to shape account level value proposition
*Developing and maintaining a positive strategic relationship with customers to sustain ongoing work and uncover new opportunities, projects or initiatives that require our service
*Leading the organization to achieve high level customer satisfaction scores to increase market share
*Driving revenue growth within existing key accounts via Customer organizational engagements
Job Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in engineering, Business, or other related field from an accredited institution
*8 years of experience in the Aerospace industry with an emphasis on commercial aerospace
*5+ years of experience in sales and/or account management, including business development, sales pipeline management, CRM processes and tools, and proposal development
*Demonstrated track record of success in revenue and business growth
*Experience with strategic planning and execution
*Proposal Development Experience
*Strong leadership, teamwork, and oral/written communication skills
*Excellent presentation and organization skills
*Ability to travel to customer sites (approximately up to 25%)
*U.S. Citizenship*
Desired Skills:
*Knowledge of commercial aerospace engineering processes and practices
*Experience commercial aerospace manufacturing and operation through multiple tiers of suppliers
*Familiarity with financial reporting and associated statements

Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Benefits offered may include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and paid leave required by law. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $150,000 to $170,000. Guidelines vary based on many factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market and business considerations.
