KeyStone Center , located in Chester, PA, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.

The Director of Plant Operations is responsible is responsible for the daily operations of the Maintenance and Housekeeping Department. The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the Environment of Care to include Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials and Waste, Emergency Preparedness, Life Safety, Medical Equipment and Utility Systems programs. The Director of Plant Operations maintains programs in compliance with established Environment of Care standards and conducts regular surveillance to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of such programs consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Keystone Center and regulating agencies. The Director of Plant Operations is the Safety Officer and is responsible to Chair the Facility's Safety Committee.for overseeing the overall activities and operations of the Admissions Department and Transportation Department.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. The Director of Environmental Services must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the hospital.

Education: High Scholl diploma, Bachelors preferred

Experience: Five years' experience in plant, building, equipment and utility maintenance. Minimum three years supervisory experience.

Licensure/Certification: Certification in Plant Engineering preferred.

Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory agency and environment of care standards, mechanical and leadership skills.

Supervision Received: Chief Executive Officer

Supervision Exercised: Maintenance, Housekeeping staff
