Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E)

By joining our Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E) business, you will be a member of a team dedicated to providing innovative solutions that streamline the preparation and execution of intricate, mission-critical operations. We focus on enhancing situational awareness, tactical command and control, and seamless video data exchange capabilities within a dynamic, multi-domain environment.

Job Description
This Solutions Architect role focuses on translating customer requirements into cost-effective technical solutions, supporting sales efforts, and leading engineering teams through the development and integration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Oversee the hardware and software development and integration processes, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to pursue new business opportunities, contributing technical expertise and developing winning proposals.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and translate those requirements into innovative and cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites (up to 25%) to support integration activities, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer engineering and integration projects, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
  • Leverage expertise in cryptography and secure communication systems to architect robust and secure solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Active US Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience leading technical/engineering teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support in-person events.
  • Proven track record in proposal development, showcasing technical writing and solution design skills.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government cryptographic standards (e.g., FIPS 140) and experience working with high-assurance cryptographic solutions, including hardware security modules and other secure cryptographic devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with DoDAF, UML, and SysML.
  • Experience leading Agile software development teams, including Scrum Master or Scrum Developer certifications.
  • Strong systems engineering/engineering background
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
