Are you passionate about making a difference and love the thrill of organizing impactful events? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join and support our Medical Foundation's Philanthropy Department as aPhilanthropy Assistant and be at the heart of our mission to improve health and acre in our community through exceptional medical education, research, and philanthropic support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Multiple Projects: Assist with various projects, events, and initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination and planning.

  • Event Coordination: Work closely with vendors, facilities, marketing teams, and event committee volunteers to oversee event details and logistics, all while adhering to strict deadlines.

  • Fundraiser Coordination: Lead certain fundraisers from start to finish, including traveling to events and attending planning meetings. Be prepared for occasional evening and weekend work.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide compassionate, confidential, and professional responses to internal and external requests and questions.

  • Administrative Support: Assist philanthropy staff with meeting notes and coordination

  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related tasks as assigned and needed

What's Available:

  • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)

  • Shift: Monday-Friday days, occasional need to work nights and weekends for events

  • Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI

To thrive in this role, you'll possess:

  • Associate degree in a related field

  • 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative setting working with vendors and customers. Experience with event coordination a plus!

  • Prior experience with working with boards of directors including providing support with meetings and communication efforts.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on various projects at a time

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
