Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for driving business success? We are seeking a dedicated Regional Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage a team that provides financial and business support to the Managing Directors of Distributor Management. You will be responsible for supporting the annual and strategic financial planning processes, as well as the monthly reporting process for US Finance.

As a Regional Finance Manager, you will oversee planning and reporting activities across regions, providing financial and business leadership and insight. You will maintain financial controls for sales operations, framing business issues using finance models to drive effective decision-making. Your role involves implementing process excellence in pricing, invoicing, reporting, and planning, and participating in the development of sales strategic measurements with the executive team.

You will ensure the delivery of critical initiatives within supporting functions such as US Finance, Shopper Marketing, Revenue Management, and Sales Planning. By effectively utilizing processes, systems, and tools, you will enable linkage between regional Customer Development and Distributor Management. Collaborating with the Business Intelligence Manager, you will help translate insights into actionable strategies.

Tracking and ensuring the delivery of operating plans through monthly reporting and identifying key variances will be crucial. You will prepare monthly ROI and profitability reports for critical business initiatives, evaluate pricing and investment decisions, and ensure financial controls for your assigned region. Your role will also involve enlisting cross-functional partners to support Sales and Customer Development objectives.

As a leader, you will develop and implement successful strategies, participate in planning and management teams, and work cross-functionally to improve processes. You will identify and obtain necessary staff resources, monitor performance goals, and ensure employee adherence to best practices and proper training.

What You Will Need:

  • MBA degree plus 4 years of finance, accounting, audit, military, operations, supply chain, sales, consulting or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Gallo experience to include 2 years of finance, audit, accounting, economics, statistic or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Leadership experience to include coaching and developing others or managing complex or cross-functional projects.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • MBA plus 6 years accounting or finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include 2 years of accounting/finance experience for a food and beverage producer; or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an accounting or finance concentration plus 7 years of accounting or finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include 2 years of accounting/finance experience for a food and beverage producer.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Experience working with a CPG sales organization.
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting.
  • Skilled in negotiation and communication.
  • Experience functioning in the role of change agent.
  • Skilled in building successful business relationships.
  • Experience providing motivational guidance and direction for subordinates.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience to working with all levels and functions within the company.
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Experience writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $121,800 - $182,600 plus 10% bonus potential
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
