Summary
The Law Department provides legal advice and counsel to all of NYPA's business and functional areas and seeks to fill the position of Attorney I. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel for the Contracts, Licensing and Environmental group, the ideal candidate will be flexible to engage on a variety of manners with an eagerness to learn and grow as an Attorney supporting the utility industry. You will have opportunities to support senior counsel on a variety of matters through legal research and drafting, with a focus on transactional, environmental, corporate governance and regulatory compliance as they relate to NYPA's mission. You will have opportunities to collaborate internally to promote consistency in contract terms, support special projects to meet NYPA's strategic goals and adopt the use of technology to achieve efficiencies in a collaborative environment.#LI-CJ1 Responsibilities

The estimated salary range for this position is: $99,350-$124,190. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
