This position will work closely with Clinical Franchise teams tolead a variety oflarge projects or programsto launch new tests for Quest Diagnostics. Such projects will require this position to collaborate with R&D, Technology, database, billing, franchise etc. in a highly matrixed environment. This is a Remote opportunity. Leads projects and working teams to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and closeprojects Leadsprojects Leads projectsthrough issues, roadblocks, andproblems Acts as a change agentto drive teamstowardsuccess Guides team members to perform through issues andconstraints Ownsprojects Owns the timeline, budget, resource constraints, and deliverables/results Shifts between the big picture and the small-but-crucialdetails Is prepared to roll up their sleeves and work through detailedissues Managesprojects Ensures all appropriate tools are completed and used effectively (e.g., charter,Ganttchart, status updates) Communicates Actively communicates with project sponsors andstakeholders Establishes regular points ofcommunication Manages sponsor and stakeholderexpectations Delivers the expectedresults Performs root cause analysis on project shortfalls andtakes corrective action asnecessary Applies project management tools and techniques, as well as other QMS principles and tools, toward a variety oflarge,and likely inter-related,projects Establishes and leads programs comprised of multiple projects, including designing how information is rolled up and cascaded down, operating rhythms and mechanisms, and tracking against the integrated set of milestones anddeliverables Coaches other employees onthe use of various tools, concepts and practices foundational to QMSinorderfor Quest Diagnostics employeesto build self-sufficiency, sustainability andscalability Participates in Communities of Practice Leads QMS trainingclasses Documentsbusiness processes Completes required continuedlearning Required WorkExperience: 7-10 years of experience as a project manager Preferred Work Experience: Experience with teams involved in test launches for Quest Diagnostics. Experience working with projects involving complex IT and/or bioinformatics solutions a plus. Experience in clinical laboratory operations a plus. Experience in research and development a plus. Experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
