Senior Compensation Analyst

As a Senior Compensation Analyst you'll use your specialized skill set to lead the day-to-day administration of the company's compensation programs. You'll do this by performing job evaluations, equity studies, interfacing with leadership throughout the business regarding global leveling, market pricing, and job profile governance. The position supports the administration of hourly, salaried, and sales incentive plans. The role reports to our Sr HR Shared Services Manager and is the subject matter expert for our global organization. #LI-MD1 #LI-Hybrid

You will do this by:

  • Interfacing with the Human Resources Leadership Team regarding all Job Profile Governance
  • Conducting position evaluation and assignment of pay ranges in alignment with the overall compensation program and market competitiveness
  • Collaborating with HR, Finance, and Payroll on the calculation of annual incentive plan and sales incentive plan payouts
  • Assisting in ensuring compensation programs, plans, and policies are compliant with government regulations, internal financial processes, and legal requirements
  • Negotiating, managing, and maintaining third party relationships to support business requirements; including reviewing and making recommendations for purchasing compensation salary surveys and related systems
  • Leading the analysis of compensation trends to develop annual merit budget recommendations to ensure the competitive position of the Company's ability to attract and retain talent
  • Collaborating with the HRIS team to lead the year-end compensation planning process
  • Conducting analysis and develops reports summarizing the results of year-end process activity
  • Assisting in the delivery of communication on compensation related topics to HR, Managers, and Employees as needed
  • Training and partnering with HR and Managers on job profile writing, basic compensation knowledge, and coaching/guiding the business based on the Company's compensation philosophy
  • Guiding and partnering with regional HR and Operations to make educated compensation decisions around annual increases, shift premiums, bonuses, and step progression structure

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related field OR equivalent education and experience
  • At least five years of experience in compensation analysis
  • Global company experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Large company manufacturing industry experience
  • Previous experience with and/or exposure to administering international compensation programs
  • Experience with sales incentives and/or commission plans
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of relevant U.S. laws and regulations related to compensation programs (i.e. FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, etc.) and some exposure to Int'l rules and regulations
  • Clear, concise, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to influence at various levels
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities while meeting agreed upon deadlines
  • Solid business orientation and the ability to understand business issues and their interrelationship with compensation
  • Solid computer skills as well as online compensation administration tools, market survey online databases, and HR systems and report-writing required
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility
