You'll oversee the design, development and delivery of learning solutions aimed at adapting and increasing skills and capabilities to meet existing and new business challenges and complexities. Oversees the partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure that the offerings align with organizational goals.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034.

Position Compensation Range:

$97,000.00 - $164,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Creates a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Works with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development.
  • Leads with influence and expertise. Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicates and supports organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
  • Manages the design, development and implementation of learning solutions and programs that support the development and training needs of the organization based on strategic initiatives, business initiatives and changing business strategies.
  • Oversees the comprehensive needs analysis of the organization for development and training solutions.
  • Ensures identification of appropriate success measures and use data to impact and improve learning solutions and programs.
  • Monitors metrics and reporting relevant to program design, development and training, facilitation efforts to ensure direct report competency and program success.
  • Establishes, communicates and implements departmental plans, objectives and strategies.
  • Keeps current on industry trends and best practices and incorporates into the organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated experience applying and training and facilitation strategies and techniques.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of current market practices and trends in adult learning.
  • Demonstrated effective management or leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing adult learning strategies, principles and effective instructional techniques.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance industry process, practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Solid knowledge of skill and competency-based assessment tools and their application.
  • Demonstrated innovation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an environment of multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50%.
