Job Summary Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Networking is tasked with developing and implementing marketing strategies for core interconnection services-including internet access, cross-connect, metro-connect, and internet exchange-as well as the observability features that span the full Equinix service portfolio. This role will also help articulate the story of the global network infrastructure that underpins these services. The Senior Manager will drive customer engagement and contribute to business growth by executing marketing strategies developed at higher management levels. This position involves collaborating with Product Management, Technical Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Alliance Partners, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure seamless product launches and marketing operations, without direct reports. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for interconnection and networking products, with a focus on market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.
- Develop effective product positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement tools under the strategic direction set by senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings based on market feedback and technological trends.
- Maintain product messaging and positioning consistency across all marketing and sales channels.
- Produce compelling marketing content that effectively communicates product benefits, features, and differentiators to engage the target audience.
- Foster collaboration across Product Management, Technical Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Alliance teams to optimize go-to-market processes.
- Serve as the product marketing lead for Equinix's core interconnection services (internet access, cross-connect, metro-connect, internet exchange).
- Define and communicate the value of observability services across Equinix's portfolio by working closely with internal teams and alliance partners such as Splunk and Datadog.
- Collaborate with partner marketing and product teams to co-develop messaging and GTM initiatives for joint observability solutions.
- Shape the narrative that conveys the global scale and strategic value of Equinix's network infrastructure.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to gauge marketing effectiveness, market penetration, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in product marketing within the B2B tech industry, particularly focusing on networking products and services.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively execute marketing strategies in a dynamic technology environment.
Required Domain Expertise:
- Core Interconnection Services: Knowledge of Equinix's cross-connects, internet exchange, metro-connect, and internet access services.
- Global Network Infrastructure: Understanding of Equinix's global backbone, routing strategies, and inter-metro connectivity.
- Enterprise IT: Broad view of IT infrastructure solutions for optimization, security, and compliance.
- Observability Platforms: Familiarity with Splunk, Datadog, and other tools that enable full-stack monitoring and analytics.
- Ecosystem GTM: Experience with co-marketing and joint GTM development with ecosystem partners.
- Portfolio-Level Storytelling: Ability to craft integrated value narratives across multiple products and platforms.
