Research Scientist

Research Scientist to independently perform basic research in cardiovascular disease; performs experiments and collects data; develops devices or techniques for studies, including experimental techniques, hardware, software, statistical methods, etc; prepares research results for publication in professional journals, books, etc; presents research findings at national meetings and in other appropriate ways disseminates scientific knowledge to the research community; actively participate in developing grant proposals of original research; participates in determining research priorities and planning programs of research.

Minimum Education and Experience

Doctorate or equivalent education/experience required. Demonstrated ability to be a competent and productive researcher as evidenced by several peer-reviewed professional publications; knowledge of sophisticated research techniques in cellular cardiac electrophysiology required.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
