Our growing business is in need of an IS Quality Assurance Tester at our corporate office in Fort Worth, Texas. The Information Services (IS) QA Tester is responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The IS QA Tester will work with an Agile development team and debug code, correct errors and troubleshoot any issues with the software code. The IS QA Tester should have a working knowledge of software code and testing methodologies by performing quality assurance, including developing and analyzing the results of test plans, for all new or modified applications that support TTI's core business functions prior to release to production.

Our IS Quality Assurance Tester:



  • Ensures thorough testing for new or modified applications prior to release to production by working with an Agile team of application programmers/developers to develop test plans that will ensure applications meet business user requirements and quality standards.
  • Design test plans, scenarios, write test scripts and procedures.
  • Write and execute manual test scripts and reviewing results
  • Based on testing results, the IS QA Tester will make the decision to release the new or modified application to production and will coordinate the release.
  • Performs quality assurance review of new or modified Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) information for new customers or customers who have modified their EDI by reviewing and identifying areas of concern in test cases submitted by programmers/developers.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education or experience required.
  • Previous software quality assurance testing required.

Physical requirements:



  • Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer terminal; to perceive and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids.
  • Detect and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; converse in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
