Summer Electrical Engineering Co-Op

SSOE Group is seeking an ambitious Electrical Engineering Co-op for our Toledo, OH team.

An ideal candidate will be a Electrical Engineering student with AutoCAD experience, who's eager to learn. The co-op will be introduced to electrical design engineering for a variety of manufacturing and industrial buildings. The intern will gain exposure to piping and instrumentation schematics, as well as 2D / 3D CAD modeling.

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
• Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
• Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.

• Current enrollment in a two or four year ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree program. Second or third academic year preferred.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.

Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school
