Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Will function as electrical team leader on selected projects. Which includes meeting with the client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction as required.
  • May also support other project leaders on specific design tasks or calculations.
  • Typical design tasks include: power distribution at low and medium voltage, industrial lighting design, control and calculations, grounding system design, and power study analysis.
  • Act as a coach and mentor while providing design direction to designers and junior-level staff.
  • Maintain professional license and stay current with industry standards and installation practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. This is not a software or IT-related position.
  • Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) and PE tracked preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related industrial and/or automotive experience preferred. Previous experience working at a consulting firm is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD platforms with emphasis on Revit. Good understanding of electrical design and Revit tools.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the NEC and experience with power study software (SKM or ETAP).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small team on mid to large-size projects, from start to finish.
  • Due to travel requirements for this role. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain company insurance coverage.
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
