This is a full-time position based in New York (Times Square) with hybrid working available. Are you consultative? We're looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join Reuters Events, a fast-growing conferencing and events business within Thomson Reuters. About the Role As a Senior Sales Manager at Reuters Events, you will: Sell sponsored events to senior-level executives at Financial Institutions Identify and prioritize new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Heads of Distribution, CEOs, CIOs, and CMOs Collaborate with internal teams including product and customer success to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes, sharing knowledge with colleagues and customers Manage and report on sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and providing regular updates to senior management About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Sales Manager, if you have: Experience selling to C-level executives within financial services A book of contacts within high-value finance accounts Ability to identify new prospects and to build and maintain meaningful client relationships Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and on calls Strong negotiation and closing skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with digital ad sales team and product #LI-CH1 What's in it For You? Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $229,810 - $426,790. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
