As a Communications Manager at Scale, you will participate in building narratives and creating content that will elevate Scale AI's profile and drive conversations around AI and its transformative impact. This specific role will lead our organic social media efforts for both Scale and its executive and also participate in building Scale's earned media strategies. If you have a passion for storytelling, building strong online communities, and creating impactful content, you may be a fit.

You Will:



  • Handle media relations, product communications, crisis communications, social media, as well as partner with our marketing team on owned content.
  • Work with teams across legal, policy, product and marketing on any critical incidents
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive organic social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, FB, Instagram) to enhance Scale AI's digital presence and engagement.
  • Foster relationships with social followers and influencers, respond to social comments and queries, and encourage discussions that aligns with Scale AI's brand voice and mission.
  • Assist in creating and amplifying content related to media coverage, industry events, and public relations efforts.
  • Track and report on organic social media and content performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.


Qualifications:



  • Experience working in B2B or enterprise tech communications
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, media relations and/or social media management, ideally in the tech or AI sector.
  • Experience working in either a fast-paced technology company or technology-focused agency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal correspondence and speechwriting
  • Ability to quickly process new technical terminology, simplify it and explain it to relevant media or stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to direct and strategize with both internal cross-functional partners and external PR agencies

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process, and confirm whether the hired role will be eligible for equity grant. You'll also receive benefits including, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. Additionally, this role may be eligible for additional benefits such as a commuter stipend.

The base salary range for this full-time position in the location of San Francisco is:
$144,000 $172,800 USD
