We are searching for a talented Speech Pathologist

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Southcoast Business Center - Fairhaven, MA; Cover RI and Southeast Ma towns.

Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Clinical Manager or designee, perform duties to support and in support of the Rehabilitation Department. Assess, diagnose, treat and help to restore speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and other related disorders within the patient's capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech/Language & Hearing Association is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is required.
  • Two (2) years of related experience in the field of Speech Therapy is required.
  • Home care experience preferred
  • A Speech Therapist licensed by the Board of Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification are required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
