Position: Embedded Systems Software Engineer Location: Walton, KY. Pay: $48-$53/hr. (DOE) Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role. Join our small, industry-leading team to develop cutting-edge training simulators for electrical, automotive, and industrial technology. You'll work on software, firmware, hardware design, UI/UX, and see your innovations impact the global education market. Required Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience. 7-10+ years in embedded systems development. Proficiency with ATMega or similar microcontrollers. Strong programming skills for IoT, embedded, mobile, web, and desktop applications. Experience in data acquisition, signal processing, and safety-critical applications. Familiarity with microcontroller peripherals (USART, ADC, DAC, PWM). Understanding of circuit design and embedded systems. Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded development. Experience with application languages (C#, Java, Python) and frameworks. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Experience with Git, Azure, or similar version control systems. Knowledge of automotive systems is a plus. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Gather requirements, analyze concepts, and define project objectives. Conduct technical studies and confirm specifications with stakeholders. Develop project timelines, outlines, and technical documentation. Research and integrate new technologies. Select components for hardware designs. Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
