We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Terminal Operator to join our team at an over-the-water terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient fueling of marine vessels, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. *Locations: Newport News, VA* Key Responsibilities: Operate fueling equipment to transfer fuel to marine vessels. Monitor fuel levels and maintain accurate records of fuel transactions. Conduct pre-fueling inspections to ensure all safety protocols are followed. Communicate with vessel crews to coordinate fueling operations. Support MARSEC Security procedures. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fueling equipment. Respond to emergencies and spills in accordance with established procedures. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel handling and environmental protection. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: Must possess a valid TWIC or have clearence eligibility MARSEC Level maritime security clearance eligibility High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in marine fueling or a related field preferred. Knowledge of fuel handling and safety procedures. Ability to operate fueling equipment and perform routine maintenance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
