Staffmark is partnering with a leading freight forwarding company in Cerritos, CA, and we're looking for a passionate Air Import Specialist to join their team! Pay: $25/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Manage job files and maintain accurate documentation (HBL, MBL, ISF, etc.)
  • Perform credit checks and escalate irregularities
  • Ensure quotes, cost, and sell rates are properly filed
  • Organize physical and electronic files regularly
  • Respond to emails and communications promptly
  • Provide updates to customers and overseas agents on import statuses
  • Oversee customs clearance and ensure timely submission
  • Maintain delivery schedules and competitive delivery rates
  • Issue invoices within 5 days of delivery
  • Maximize profitability while managing costs



Job Requirements:



  • 2+ years of freight forwarding experience
  • Strong knowledge of ocean import logistics and documentation
  • Excellent account management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Experience with Cargowise software
  • Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and writing)
