THE JOB:
As a cook, your job is to prepare delicious food using your cooking skills. You'll also help create a great experience for guests by being friendly and welcoming. By paying attention to what they like and need, you'll make their visit memorable, leaving them with a lasting positive impression.

THE STARTING RATE:
$21.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Know your ingredients and cook food the right way.
• Use kitchen tools and equipment safely.
• Keep the kitchen stocked with necessary supplies and food.
• Label and date food properly to keep everything fresh and clean.
• Know the menu well and make sure dishes look great when served.
• Help the kitchen team with preparing and serving food.
• Be familiar with making basic sauces, stocks, and soups.
• Work well with others and assist guests when needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Previous cooking experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes consistently
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Strong attention to detail; especially in food presentation.

The starting rate for this role is:

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
