Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Fully Onsite) Industry: Manufacturing Vaco is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for a leading company in the manufacturing industry. This role is fully onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Job Purpose: The Senior Accountant will manage key financial processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, expense tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete balance sheet reconciliations after month-end and make necessary adjustments Prepare monthly journal entries in the ERP system (D365 F&O) Reconcile bank accounts daily Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations Track expenses and provide reports to management Research variances to budget and report findings Assist with the preparation of the fiscal budget and ongoing forecasts Support weekly cash flow forecasting using purchasing and sales reports Perform three-way matching of purchases and enter invoices into the ERP system Create weekly payment journals for accounts payable payments Monitor product costs to ensure accuracy and completeness Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and proactive in investigating issues and variances Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Excel and Office 365 Salary: $80,000-$95,000 Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $80,000-$95,000. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
