Apex is seeking a Part-Time Health and Safety Professional to assist with program implementation at a Client manufacturing facility in Marietta, Georgia. Will support a high-profile client implement sophisticated health and safety protocols with the ability to influence safety across the manufacturing facility. Estimate 30 hours/week on average.

Job description includes providing programmatic support conducting compliance inspections, Hazard Risk Assessments, and investigating mishaps and close-calls. Candidate will assist in the completion of injury and illness investigations and provide support with root cause and corrective action development to prevent future injuries and illnesses.

Your responsibilities as an on-site Senior Health & Safety Professional include providing programming support deliverables, such as:

Incident Management System administration,
Injury investigations,
Close call evaluations,
PPE evaluations,
Production risk assessments and safety walk/resultant corrective action summaries,
Injury and illness prevention program assessments, and
Safety metric reports.

What we're looking for:

Bachelors degree is desired.
7-12 years' experience with Health and Safety management in manufacturing environments
CSP certification desired.
Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Familiar and comfortable with using computer software for reporting
Familiar with using Enablon Software
Strong organizational skills with ability to track open and closed items.
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Proven interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse work force
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
Ability to remain composed while coordinating or providing an immediate response to client needs
Proficiency with MS Office suite with ability to distribute information to Department Leaders
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and successful background check
