Supporting the Benefit Solutions Group, we are actively seeking an eager, technically savvy, Benefits Analyst to join our team*. *This is an introductory analytics career opportunity, supporting Benefit Consultants across the Northeast Series including offices in Hartford, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and DC.
The chosen employee will be responsible for, administrative data tasks/projects that come in from the insurance team. This will include responding to RFPs, entering renewals, commissions etc. It's a highly data driven role where you're reviewing contracts and entering info various web sheets. Candidates will be working with employee benefits & retirement services. Analytical and software experience will be very important in this position to support the growing needs in this division. *Additional Duties:* * Completes predictive/forecasting models * Work within large data sets completing data manipulation, data cleaning, or other activities related to data science * Provides high quality service; understands and demonstrates ability/desire to "out-perform, out-deliver and be out-in-front." * Complete moderately complex mathematical calculations including Excel formulas and ability to determine reasonability of final product. * Seeks out new work assignments and assists other associates/team members when capacity allows and strives to learn new approaches, techniques, and methods. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Analytics or related field required. * In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 3-5 years' experience in analytics accepted. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, VBA, SQL, and/or Python a plus, but not required. * Eager and enthusiastic about advancing technical skills, particularly within data analytics and visualization. * Has effective communication skills (both verbal and written) *Added details:* * Pay: $24.03 - $26.44/hr. based on related experience & education. * Pay cycle - weekly | Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits offered. * After training (1 month) employees are eligible to work a hybrid schedule. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.44/hr.
