The role will manage project teams (Design Leads and Design Engineers) throughout project lifecycles, from developing winning proposals to proactively leading and managing the team through the entire project life cycle (project kickoff, budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications) in support of project deliverables. Project management: Leading Design Teams on transportation projects of all sizes. (About 50% of their time). Business development: Manage the pursuit of potential projects, including the necessary business development to pre-position for proposals and lead proposal efforts; and to be strongly engaged with the industry and relevant organizations to maintain relationships and connections. (About 35% of time). Staff management, operations, and planning: Supervising team, overseeing operations and planning for the group. Acquiring the necessary talent to support the business plan.
