JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Altoona is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer to teach CSD 218 or 318 or 418 or 428: American Sign Language (ASL) I, II and III, and IV. These courses are designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of ASL, including vocabulary development, grammatical structures, conversational skills, and cultural awareness. Instruction will emphasize both comprehension and production skills to develop students' fluency and accuracy in ASL. Subsequent courses will build upon the previous one(s). CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
