About the Role:

Performs various delivery, stocking, data entry, shipping and miscellaneous office duties. Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items as necessary. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Examines, stocks and distributes materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Responsible for receipt, delivery or storing of incoming packages or goods

  • Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory or proper employee

  • Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure the quantity and the quality of materials received are correct

  • Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods delivered

  • Performs data entry and maintain necessary documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities

  • Analyzes reports and documents and correct noted deficiencies in a timely manner

  • Supports stock allocation to scientific departments

  • Processes outgoing shipments and returns. Prepares and maintains records of materials shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment

  • Collects, washes, and restocks laboratory glassware

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2+ years of data entry and receiving experience preferred. Bio-tech or laboratory experience preferred

  • Some college courses preferred

  • Uses established skills to perform a range of daily operations

  • Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks

  • Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives

  • Good Communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems (Coupa preferred)

  • Understands shipping process to prepare final shipping

  • Understand tracking mechanism for shipments / returns

  • Data entry and receiving knowledge preferred

  • Knowledge of Bio-tech or laboratory shipping/receiving methods

  • Must be comfortable working in a laboratory environment

  • Valid drivers license and ability to drive company vehicles

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $22.96-$33.28. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
