Job Summary Plans, develops, and manages the curriculum and administration of activities of SPOT 127 - Digital Media Center. The candidate analyzes student work and programs to determine effectiveness and quality; recommends modifications or additions for Spot 127 program improvement and success; works with staff, and stakeholders on Spot programs, fundraising and operational opportunities; performs related duties as assigned including recruiting and partnership development. Essential Functions 30% - Leads the assembling and oversight of the team to manage growth of the Spot 127 program to include: developing and implementing operational guidelines to maintain the health of the organization and sustain measured growth 20% - Analyzes student work and programs to determine effectiveness and quality; recommends modifications or additions for Spot 127 program improvement and success 20% - Consults with staff, board members, and other stakeholders on Spot 127 program, serves as Spot 127 liaison at events and with donors as needed 10% - Plans, organizes, reviews and evaluates the work of Spot staff 10% - Serves as subject matter expert providing consultation and instruction related to the curriculum and program 10% - Monitors data collection; analyzes data and prepares related reporting for Board members and fundraising efforts; performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or directly related field and four years of related program management experience, preferably in an educational setting. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Three (3) years of experience supervising staff and developing teams B. Three (3) years of experience guiding and leading education programs C. Three (3) years of experience in project planning, preferably curriculum development D. Three (3) years of building partnerships across a variety of stakeholders Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations. May require numerous evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs.
