What You'll Do/ A Day In The Life Typically Includes As work is pulled in to the department from sortation by the front auditor you will sort the work into the individual orders within one batch. Identify what needs to happen whether its printing labels, sending it to RFID or stamping. Once the work has been prepped it is ready to be pushed in to individual stations for the processing to start. Work will go in to two paths in VAS jackets or kits and in CLS goes to kits. MOM CLS: Material handlers are responsible for multiple areas within the CLS Department. There are times they will match order numbers within a batch which requires them to match and lift boxes. They provide the work to the processors at their stations and scan the work to the area they move the work to. Once the work is complete and ready to leave the department, they are responsible for matching the order numbers back up and sending the work out of the department physically and systematically. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work Environment The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles and occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently must stand and lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally must stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear; and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
