Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$15.64 - $18.75 / hour

The Prosthetic Fitter is responsible for providing sales assistance and consultations to customers that includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up and practice management. Assist with merchandising, stocking and receiving inventory, and related product sales. Provide post-surgical care to cancer patients (such as mastectomy products and compression garments). Receive and enter inventory into the Point-of-Sale system, contribute to marketing efforts, open and close store, process sales transactions and assist customers with products. Will also fit patients (once certified as a mastectomy fitter, CMF, and trained as a compression fitter) for mastectomy and compression products, wigs, including preparing all documentation required for the medical record and regulatory requirements.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years experience in retail/healthcare setting with knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Experience in fitting mastectomy and compression garments, bras and wigs.

Certification: Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) preferred or willingness to be trained and certified within 6 months of hire.

License: N/A

Other: Demonstrate excellent customer service. Detail oriented. Ability to be sensitive to customer and patient needs. Comfortable working with patients in various stages of treatment. Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into various platforms (Microsoft office suite and databases). Proficiency using a cash register/point of sale system.
