Business Analyst Planner
1 Year Assignment
MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN JOSE- HYBRID 2 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK- TRAINING WILL BE 5X ONSITE PER WEEK
Pay Range $35-$44 per hour w2
2-3 years experience needed
The primary scope of responsibility includes the facilitation and coordination of all aspects of operations and support between US customers, the Japan-based business group, and related supply chain partners. Key duties encompass the accurate and timely management of sales operations, business unit forecasting, global allocations, and shipment scheduling. Additional responsibilities include processing credit and debit memos, overseeing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) warehouse management, coordinating logistics and returns, administering customer portals, and preparing monthly operations and sales reports.
Strong analytical capabilities, excellent judgment, attention to detail, and a high level of personal accountability and integrity are essential for success in this role. A proactive mindset in support of the business units' objectives for revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction is required. Additionally, the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders-including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and overseas counterparts-will be crucial for achieving business goals.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business planning, analysis, or supply chain.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: sales operations, tactical marketing, program management, inside sales, or supply chain.
- Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to accommodate global time zones when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.
- Strong teamwork focus, analytical thinking, and financial acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to contribute to the success of the team and organization.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
