This is a full-timeposition located in Denver, CO. For certain positions, including this one, employees can work one day per week remotely. Travel is 40-50% on the Northwest and Powder River divisions.

Key responsibilities may include:

Provide leadership oversight for HR team in the North Region Hub. Lead the HR Hub team providing work assignments, planning, closely coordinating work activities with the Divisional HR Representatives working in Spoke roles. Facilitate clear communication and planning processes with external recruiters for sourcing and recruitment support across the North Region.

Coordinate Regional HR Activities by working closely with the Regional Director of Human Resources.

Train and develop the HR Hub team members.

Manage HR Activities on two Divisions providing coverage for the Northwest and Powder River Divisions. Leading the following HR processes:

  • Developand implement effective recruiting strategies to attract quality candidates for union and exempt positions.
  • Conductinterviews and selection of candidates for hire/promotion.
  • Investigateand resolve hotline calls, internal complaints, and EEOC/State agency charges in a thorough manner.
  • Preparematerials and present training to diverse employee groups on various human resources and benefits topics.
  • Proactively anticipateemployee concerns and work with department leaders on resolution and handling
  • Providecareer mentoring and counseling for employees in conjunction with leadership.
  • Facilitateand execute various projects to improve processes and meet departmental needs.
  • Respondto employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related functions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other business discipline is required.
  • Seven or more years of experience in Human Resources, or a related field required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Prior experience in employee relations, recruitment, and hiring selection
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all federal and applicable state employment laws
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • High degree of integrity in handling confidential information
